Admission requirements

In order to enrol in the degree programme directly, you need a general higher education entrance qualification, a subject-related higher education entrance qualification, or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification.

  • If you do not have a high school diploma or a technical college entrance qualification, recognized advanced training and technical school qualifications (e.g. technician, master craftsman, business administrator, specialist, educator, etc.) in combination with a consultation entitle you to study.
  • If you cannot provide advanced training or technical school qualifications, but have completed vocational training and work experience, you can start studying after successfully passing a university aptitude test.
  • Foreign students interested in studying in Germany need to provide proof of German language proficiency. There are several ways to prove this, such as DSH-2 (German Language Examination for University Entrance), C1 according to GER (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), TestDaF level 4 (Test German as a Foreign Language), a school leaving certificate equivalent to a German university entrance qualification.
