Admission requirements

In order to directly enroll in the degree program, you need to have the general university entrance qualification, a subject-specific university entrance qualification, or the university of applied sciences entrance qualification.

If you do not have a high school diploma or vocational baccalaureate diploma, recognized further education and vocational school qualifications (e.g. technician, master craftsman, business administrator, specialist manager, educator) in combination with a consultation qualify you for studying.

If you cannot provide evidence of further education or vocational school qualifications, but have completed vocational training and work experience, you can start studying after successfully passing the university aptitude test.

Foreign students interested in studying in Germany need to provide proof of German language proficiency. There are several ways to provide proof, such as:

• DSH-2 (German language examination for university entrance)
• C1 according to GER (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
• TestDaF level 4 (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache)
• a school leaving certificate equivalent to a German university entrance qualification.
