Admission requirements
Applicants should have completed a university degree in one of the following areas: engineering, natural sciences, or industrial engineering. Equivalent qualifications are also recognized. In addition, professional work experience is expected, ideally covering at least one year in the fields of environmental technology, energy technology, or recycling technology. For non-native speakers, proof of German language skills at level C1 is also required.
Details
The diploma course in Environmental Technology and Recycling is aimed at academics, technical or industrial engineers who wish to further qualify in the field of environmental technology. It provides comprehensive knowledge in the areas of water and waste management, air pollution control, recycling and energy conservation, building on the students' existing knowledge. The course is part-time and spans five semesters, comprising 90 ECTS credits.
Students acquire knowledge through the practice-oriented structure of the programme, essential for a career in applied research, development, or in an environmental consultancy role.
