Programme contents
The bachelor's degree programme in Engineering Science at THWS comprises seven semesters and offers an interdisciplinary engineering education with a high degree of flexibility. In the first three semesters, students develop basic engineering knowledge in mathematics, physics, IT as well as programming, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and industrial engineering. This is followed by specialist studies, which enable specialisation. Students build knowledge in lectures, exercises, and practical projects. An integrated internship semester is the ideal preparation for starting a career. Special characteristic: Students can change to on-site studies at THWS from the 4th semester.
Practice-orientation
Online studies at THWS are characterised by a high practice-orientation and the internship semester, which takes place in the 5th or 6th semester, depending on your degree programme. It takes place in the 6th semester and is completed in a company. That way you can apply the knowledge developed during your online studies in an actual work environment.
