These are the admission requirements for the Master's program in Engineering Management
We offer the Master's in Engineering Management in a shortened 60-ECTS version, which lasts 2 semesters in full-time study. A first degree with a focus on engineering and a grade of at least "satisfactory" are required.
Depending on the scope of your degree, you may need to demonstrate additional professional experience:
- If your first degree is 180 ECTS, you must complete 30 ECTS of courses and demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant work experience. Alternatively, you can show at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- If your degree is 210 ECTS, you must complete 30 ECTS of courses. Alternatively, you need to show at least 1 year of qualified work experience, which you gained after your studies.
- If your degree is 240 ECTS, which is the case for many diploma degrees, you do not need to demonstrate any work experience.
In addition, you must prove your English language skills. For example, English language skills can be proven through a TOEFL (minimum 80 points), an IELTS (minimum Level 6), a passing score on the Duolingo English Test (minimum 105 points), a Cambridge certificate (minimum grade B overall), or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you can take a free English course directly at IU International University.
