Here are the admission requirements for the Master's programme in Innovation and Entrepreneurship
For the Master's programme in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, we require a completed undergraduate degree with a focus on business or economics.
The final grade of your first degree should be at least "satisfactory."
Foreign applicants must also demonstrate their knowledge of German, for example, through TestDaF, DSH, Telc, or ÖSD.
Additionally, you must demonstrate your English language skills. You can demonstrate your English proficiency, for example, through a TOEFL (minimum 80 points), IELTS (minimum Level 6), a passed Duolingo English Test (minimum 105 points), a Cambridge Certificate (minimum Grade B), or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you can take an English course at IU International University free of charge.

The Master's programme at IU International University is modular. A module usually consists of 5 credit points (ECTS) and concludes with an examination, such as a written exam or a written assignment. You complete your Master's degree step by step - and even largely determine when you want to complete which module.
In full-time studies, you can structure your study plan as follows for example:
- 1st Semester: Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems, Entre- and Intrapreneurship, Strategic Management, Business Model Design, Product Development, Advanced Research Methods
- 2nd Semester: Applied Marketing Research, Sales and Pricing, Agile Project Management, Lean Start Up, Design Thinking, Seminar: Current Topics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- 3rd Semester: Digital Business Models, Internet of Things, Elective A, Elective B

Study Concept: How the part-time study Innovation and Entrepreneurship at IU works
You can adapt the online study Innovation and Entrepreneurship at IU International University flexibly to your life and daily routine as it suits you best. For example, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time study, you need a total of 4 semesters, i.e., 24 months, to complete the Master's degree. In part-time study I, you study for 6 semesters until graduation. Or you opt for part-time study II and take 8 semesters to complete your Master's.
With each module registration, you will receive study materials as printed study booklets. All materials are also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of a lesson. Depending on the module, the study materials are supplemented with podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called Shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the convenient IU Learn app.
In many modules, virtual teaching events are also offered, allowing you to interact interactively with your fellow students and lecturers.
Particularly convenient and flexible is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 7 days a week around the clock - when you feel optimally prepared for the exam, for example, in building construction. Additionally, we operate about 40 exam centres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland where you can also take your exams in the traditional way.
