Admission requirements

In order to enrol in a Bachelor's degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences (FHM), students must meet at least the same formal admission requirements that would be required for admission to a comparable programme at a public university. Either a university entrance qualification or a technical college entrance qualification is required. Practitioners with relevant professional qualifications can also enrol in a programme. Possible access routes include a general university entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification, a master craftsman's certificate, or a qualification as a certified technician, business administrator in the skilled trades, or as a specialist or business manager. Graduates of two-year vocational school training programmes with professional qualifications can also be admitted.

The degree programme Social Work & Management at the University of Applied Sciences of the Mittelstand (FHM) offers a comprehensive education that includes both traditional social work skills and business management knowledge and leadership skills. The target group is future specialists and executives who are able to meet the dynamic requirements of social work. In addition to imparting scientifically founded social work knowledge, economic and communicative skills are also taught.
