Admission requirements
The study programme Digital Games Business is open to those who meet one of the following requirements:
• General qualification for university entrance (Abitur)
• University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife)
• passed master craftsman examination
• intermediate school leaving certificate (at least secondary school leaving certificate) and qualified completion of a recognized vocational training lasting at least 3 years, with an average overall or final grade of 2.5 or better (if these grades are not specified, the arithmetic mean of the individual subject grades applies)
• completion of a professional development course with at least 400 hours of instruction, a technical school, or a vocational or administrative academy*
• final examination in a state-recognized training occupation followed by at least 2 years of professionally related work and passing a separate university entrance examination*
* in accordance with the Regulation on Access for Vocational Qualifications to Universities in the State of Hesse
For foreign qualifications, equivalence must be proven for admission.
