Admission requirements
The prerequisite for enrollment is a successfully completed university degree in the study programmes:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Production Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Industrial Engineering with a focus on engineering science
- Technical Informatics
- Digital Engineering
- Electrical Power Engineering
- Automotive Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- or an equivalent qualification.
Further, closely related academic degrees also qualify for enrollment if they include at least 60 ECTS credits from natural and engineering science modules.
Details
In this course of studies, you will acquire well-founded knowledge in electrical engineering, for instance in high-frequency and electrical energy technology. Additionally, you will expand your competencies in product development, management, and process management for Industry 4.0 as well as in systems and software engineering, including machine learning. This will qualify you for demanding tasks in areas such as communication, energy, or automation.
Depending on your professional experience and specialization, upon completion you can work in the development of electrical and complex systems or in project management for technology-oriented companies. You can focus on energy generation, distribution, and efficiency, or participate in research and development of new technologies.
