These are the requirements for the MBA Engineering Management
The MBA program in Engineering Management at the Wilhelm Büchner University is aimed at individuals who have already completed a first degree and can demonstrate at least two years of professional experience after this degree. This program is particularly suitable for graduates of courses in engineering, natural sciences, business, information technology, or similar disciplines. For admission, a degree with at least 240 ECTS credit points is required.
If you already have a diploma or master's degree, you can enroll directly in the MBA program. With many years of professional experience, there is the possibility that this may be recognized as a pre-achievement as part of an individual case assessment.
If you have less than 240 ECTS credit points, Wilhelm Büchner University offers a Pre-Master Pool. From this pool, you can select and complete certificates to obtain the necessary ECTS points for admission. If you have a bachelor's degree with a standard period of study of 6 semesters, two Pre-Master certificates are required. For a 7-semester bachelor's degree, completing one certificate is sufficient.
Possible Pre-Master certificates for the MBA program include topics such as future management, technology management, quality management, digitalization and transformation, agility and digitalization, as well as digital energy management and energy systems. These certificates provide additional qualifications and facilitate entry into the MBA program.
