These are the requirements for the Master's in Innovation and Technology Management
The master's programme is designed for individuals looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of innovation and technology management. This programme is suitable for graduates of a first degree in engineering, natural sciences, business, information technology, or related disciplines.
Admission Requirements:
- Academic Qualification: Students must have completed a first degree in engineering, natural sciences, business, information technology, or a related field at a German university or equivalent institution. The first degree should have a standard period of study of seven semesters with 210 credit points.
- English Proficiency: Proof of sufficient English proficiency is required to participate in the programme.
- Credit Transfer: Prospective students have the option to have academic or non-academic achievements recognized for their distance learning at Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule. Through recognition, students can effectively shorten their studies, saving time and money. The recognition is based on the module handbook and the examination regulations of the university.
- Interested individuals with 180 ECTS have the option to achieve the required 210 credits by providing evidence of 30CP of study achievements or by choosing from a pool of Pre-Master certificates offered by WBH to meet the required credit points. There are attractive certificates with their own qualifications available in the areas of Digitalization and Transformation, Agile and Digitalization, as well as Digital Energy Management and Energy Systems.
For individuals who already hold a diploma or master's degree, direct enrollment in the M.Sc. Innovation and Technology Management is possible.

These are the study contents and the course structure
Your master's degree program in Innovation and Technology Management at WBH is structured in a modular way. You will study thematically closed subject areas (modules) to which credit points are allocated according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The number of credit points allocated to each module depends on the scope of the module and the associated workload. All credit points you earn will be credited to you, and you will receive a certificate for it. Your achievements are thus comparable and recognized internationally.
You can choose between two study profiles for your Innovation and Technology Management studies at the beginning.
The course structure for the study profile 'Application' is as follows:

- 2nd semester: Digital Business Models and Data Science, SDG Project, Elective Area II, Elective Area III, Innovation Lab
- 3rd semester: Master's thesis including colloquium

- 3rd semester: Master's thesis including colloquium
