The part-time further education programme MASTER:ONLINE Logistikmanagement combines the expertise of the University of Stuttgart in cooperation with Fraunhofer. It is aimed at professionals and managers from the logistics industry and focuses on both technological and business competencies. Participants acquire specific logistics knowledge and gain access to current research methods.
The MASTER:ONLINE Logistikmanagement study programme is designed for working professionals who want to further educate themselves alongside their responsible roles in companies. The study contents cover logistics-specific topics and key competencies. Those interested solely in specific topics have the option to take individual modules from the extensive range as part of a certificate programme. Participants receive a certificate from the University of Stuttgart, which is recognized for further study.
Students of Master:Online Logistikmanagement gain a holistic view of logistics, deepening and expanding their existing knowledge. Employers value self-initiative for further education and often reward it; many companies cover part of the tuition fees. Upon successful completion of the programme, you enhance your chances for advancement within the company, as well as for a career change. The qualification is internationally recognised and allows for further doctoral studies.
The modules are structured according to the principle of blended learning. Self-study phases (80 percent) can be designed flexibly in terms of time and location. Interaction with lecturers and fellow students takes place online via WebEx. In addition, in-person events (20 percent) are offered. The final semester is dedicated to completing the master's thesis.
The recommended workload, taking into account the students' professional commitments, is 2-3 modules per semester (12 or 18 ECTS). The standard duration of study is 8 semesters, with the possibility of credit recognition. This can shorten the study period, allowing for completion in as little as 3 semesters, depending on prior studies and individual study planning.
Module Handbook: The module handbooks describe the individual modules with their corresponding courses, contents, and assessments.The study plan is customizable. Depending on prior studies, completion can be achieved within three to seven semesters. All modules can also be taken individually in a certificate programme leading to a certificate.
