These are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's in Aviation Management
You can enroll in the Bachelor's distance learning program in Aviation Management at IU International University (IU) if you provide us with your high school diploma (general university entrance qualification), your technical college entrance qualification or your subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enroll without a high school diploma. Studying without a high school diploma at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training, for example, training to become a State-certified Business Economist.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, for example, training to become an office clerk. After completing your training, you have worked full-time in this profession for at least 3 years. If your training does not fit the Aviation Management distance learning program thematically, you will first complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.
In addition, you must prove your English language skills. You can demonstrate English language skills, for example, through a TOEFL (at least 80 points), IELTS (at least Level 6), a passed Duolingo English test (at least 105 points), a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B overall), or an equivalent proof. Alternatively, you can take an English course free of charge directly at IU International University.

Study Concept: How the part-time study Aviation Management at IU works
You can adapt the online study program in Aviation Management at IU International University flexibly to your life and your everyday life as it best suits you. For example, you can choose one of 3 study models: In the full-time program, you will need a total of 6 semesters, i.e. 36 months, to complete the Bachelor's degree. In part-time study I, you will study for 8 semesters until completion. Or you can opt for part-time study II and take 12 semesters to complete the Bachelor's.
You will receive study materials from IU with each module enrollment as printed study booklets. All materials are also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of a lesson. Depending on the module, the study materials are supplemented with podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called Shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the practical Learn-App of IU.
In many modules, virtual teaching events are also offered, allowing you to interactively engage with your fellow students and lecturers.
Particularly convenient and flexible: the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 7 days a week, around the clock - whenever you feel best prepared for the exam, for example, in construction design. Furthermore, we operate about 40 exam centers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where you can also take your exams in a classic on-site manner.
