These are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's in International Management
You can enrol in the Bachelor's distance learning programme in International Management at IU International University (IU) if you provide us with your A-levels (general university entrance qualification), your Fachabitur (subject-related higher education entrance qualification), or your subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enrol without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training course, for example, a training course to become a State-certified Business Administrator.
- Or you have completed a vocational training course, for example, training to become an office clerk. Following your training, you have worked in this profession full-time for at least 3 years. If your training is not thematically suitable for the distance learning programme in International Management, you first complete a trial study before being enrolled regularly.
If you opt for the English-language version, you must also prove your English language skills. You can demonstrate your English language skills, for example, through a TOEFL test (minimum 80 points), via IELTS (minimum Level 6), through a passed Duolingo English test (minimum 105 points), by presenting a Cambridge certificate (minimum grade B), or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you can take a free English course directly at IU International University.

Study Concept: How the part-time study International Management at IU works

You can adapt online studies in International Management at IU International University flexibly to fit your life and daily routine as best suits you. For example, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time study, you need a total of 6 semesters, or 36 months, to complete your bachelor's degree. In part-time study I, you study for 8 semesters until completion. Or you can opt for part-time study II and take up to 12 semesters to complete your bachelor's degree.
With every module enrollment, you will receive study materials from IU in the form of printed study booklets. All materials are also available to you digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative study scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of each lesson. Depending on the module, the study materials are supplemented with podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called Shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the practical IU Learn App.
In many modules, virtual classes are also offered, allowing you to interactively engage with your fellow students and lecturers.
Especially convenient and flexible is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 7 days a week, around the clock - at a time when you feel best prepared for the exam in, for example, construction.
