Admission requirements
The study programme Life Coaching (Bachelor of Science) is not subject to admission restrictions and can therefore be studied without a Numerus Clausus (NC). At DHGS German University for Health and Sport, the admission requirements for studying this programme are as follows:

Life coaches are an integral part of modern life and work environments. However, not every life coaching certificate enables the high-quality training required for this complex profession. DHGS is one of the first institutions to academically legitimize the coaching training process.
Through the high-quality study programme Life Coaching Bachelor of Science, students have access to industry-specific knowledge that meets the highest academic standards.
In the undergraduate programme, students gain interdisciplinary knowledge in the areas of psychology, sports science, nutritional science, philosophy, and economics.
With this skill set, graduates have excellent opportunities to work as business coaches, nutrition consultants, or life counselors.

The Bachelor of Science in Life Coaching lasts for 7 semesters and includes 210 ECTS credits. In addition to 6 theoretical semesters, there is 1 practical semester integrated into the curriculum. Currently, the focuses are on nutrition and coaching. In the 6th semester, students can choose from the focuses of Life Coaching & Organization, Nutrition & Health, and Health & Fitness.
Examination forms include written study papers, exams, and presentations. At the end of the bachelor's programme, a scientific thesis on a freely chosen topic from the health, sports, or psychology sector is written.
