The University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics Berlin (HTW Berlin) is the largest university of applied sciences in the capital city of Germany. Founded in 1994, HTW Berlin offers more than 80 degree programmes in the fields of business, engineering, computer science, design, and culture. With over 14,000 students, the university is an important location for practice-oriented and interdisciplinary education.

HTW Berlin places particular emphasis on research focuses such as the digital economy, the creative economy, health research, industry and the world of work of the future as well as renewable energies and energy efficiency. The university has partnerships with 150 universities in Europe and overseas, strengthening its international orientation and network.
