The Berlin Professional School (BPS) is the further education institute of the HWR Berlin, bundling its MBA and further education master's and certificate programs. The BPS is aimed at professionals who want to pursue a practice-oriented study alongside their professional activities. The focus is on imparting management and leadership skills that are both theoretically sound and practically applicable. Management and leadership are not only taught at the BPS but actively lived.

Currently, the BPS offers four postgraduate further education master's distance learning courses: Master of Business Management, Master of Public Administration, Master of European Public Management, and Master of Security Management. These programmes are based on a blended learning approach, combining flexible e-learning phases with intensive face-to-face phases. Students can learn independent of location and deepen their learning through practical exercises such as planning and role-playing during face-to-face phases.
