Admission requirements
You must have obtained the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or the university of applied sciences entrance qualification. Alternatively, you may have a university admission qualification recognized as equivalent by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art, or have passed the university entrance exam (HZP) after two semesters of study. There are also alternative admission options such as a qualified degree (e.g. master craftsman's certificate) or professional qualifications with relevant work experience.

The Bachelor's programme in Industrial Engineering Mechatronics at Wilhelm Büchner University qualifies you to lead the transition towards smart automation and digitally interconnected processes. The course provides solid knowledge in technical and economic disciplines and includes modules in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, engineering, economics, law, and social sciences. Additionally, you will learn methods of digitisation and sustainability transformation.
- First to third semester: Interdisciplinary basics in STEM subjects
