The Digital Automotive Production degree programme is aimed at engineers working in the automotive production sector who already hold a bachelor's or diploma degree and wish to deepen their knowledge in topics such as Industry 4.0, Smart Production, Human-Robot Collaboration, and Additive Manufacturing. The programme is suitable for both beginners and experienced professionals looking to refresh and expand their expertise.
This Master's programme is also suitable for engineers from production companies in other industries as the topics covered are cross-industry. The courses cover current research and technology in areas such as Industry 4.0 applications, body and engine manufacturing, additive manufacturing, assembly and robotics technology, as well as modern production management methods and process simulation leading to the Digital Factory.
Graduates are well-prepared for leadership roles as the programme also includes modules in personnel management, business law, and cost management. Project work on specific examples prepares students practically for complex tasks in their professional lives.
The programme can be completed part-time in 4 semesters or consecutively in 3 semesters. The Master of Engineering degree qualifies individuals for a career in senior civil service in the public sector.
