Requirements First academic degree from a public / state-recognized university or a comparable degree in an engineering program, at least 180 ECTS credits; Usually one year of relevant professional experience (after the first degree), exception e.g. part-time first degree English Level B1 (fulfilled if 4 half-years during the upper school at least a satisfactory grade or passed ENG with us) Access with 210 ECTS: Enrollment without conditions Access with 180 ECTS: Enrollment with conditions: Acquisition of an additional 30 CP (participation in modules from the Bachelor's programs in Business Engineering and/or Business Administration at HFH as specified by the examination board

The distance learning programme Master's in Mechanical Engineering at HFH · Hamburger Fern-Hochschule focuses on imparting profound academic knowledge in the complex world of mechanical engineering. The programme consists of four semesters, including three regular study semesters and an additional semester for the completion of the Master's thesis. A total of 90 ECTS credits are awarded.
