Details

The part-time Bachelor's degree programme in Mechanical Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is one of the few programmes of its kind at German universities. The programme combines comprehensive training in areas such as design, simulation, manufacturing, and computer science with methodological skills in various application areas that meet employers' expectations regarding digitization and sustainability. The modules address the digital and sustainable transformation of the industry and impart this knowledge in a practice-oriented way.

Particularly noteworthy is the entire CAx process chain, which encompasses all aspects of the product development process: from conception (CAD) through analysis (CAE) to manufacturing (CAM) and quality control (CAQ). This prepares students optimally for the requirements of the modern mechanical engineering industry.

The career prospects are diverse. Graduates can work in small and medium-sized companies or large corporations, in research, design, and calculation, production preparation and production, quality assurance, or in the public sector. Self-employment in engineering offices is also possible.
