Your Bachelor's degree programme in Mechanical Engineering at WBH is structured in content modules. You study thematically closed subject areas (modules) to which credit points are allocated according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The number of credit points assigned to each module depends on the scope of the module and the associated workload. All credit points you earn will be credited to you and you will receive proof of this. Your achievements are thus comparable and recognized – also internationally.
The course of studies is structured as follows:
- 1st Semester: Mathematics I, Basic Natural Sciences, Basics of Computer Science with Laboratory, Fundamentals of Business Administration and Legal Foundations, Introduction Project for Engineers
- 2nd Semester: Mathematics II, Basic Engineering Sciences, Introduction to Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Communication and Management
- 3rd Semester: Mathematics III with Laboratory, Materials Engineering, Technical Mechanics I, Fluid Mechanics, Technical Thermodynamics
- 4th Semester: Metrology, Design Theory, Technical Mechanics II, Control Engineering with Laboratory
- 5th Semester: Control Engineering with Laboratory, Manufacturing Engineering with Laboratory, Machine Elements I, Computer-Aided Engineering
- 6th Semester: Machine Elements II, Specialization (Module I), Specialization (Module II), Specialization (Module III)
- 7th Semester: Engineering Science Project, Specialization (Module IV), Specialization (Module V), Bachelor Thesis and Colloquium
