The distance learning course "Logistics Management" is offered by the European Correspondence University Hamburg and leads to a Bachelor of Science degree. The course extends over a period of 36 months and comprises a total of 180 ECTS.
The course content covers various areas such as General Business Administration, Management, Scientific Work, Foundations of Mathematics for Economists, Business Statistics and Informatics, English for Business, Introduction to Logistics and phase-specific logistics, Personnel and Organization, Economics and International Business, Transport Systems, Investment and Financing, International Seminar (2 weeks at a foreign partner university), Material Flow Systems, Business, Transport and Logistics Law, Logistics IT Systems and E-Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting and Logistics Control, as well as Planning and Control of Logistics Systems. The course concludes with the Bachelor Thesis.
The course includes four face-to-face seminars, an online seminar, and a 14-day International Seminar at a partner university abroad. This enables students to engage in intercultural exchange and gain insight into international logistics processes.
