Details
The Master's programme in IT Security and Forensics, offered by Wismar International Graduation Services GmbH (WINGS), covers a range of course contents dealing with current challenges and technologies in IT security and forensics. Students will be trained in areas such as network and security management, cryptography, forensic analysis, data protection, and compliance.
The curriculum includes modules such as Introduction to IT Security and Forensics, Cryptographic Methods and Applications, Forensics in Operating and Application Systems, Analysis Methods for Forensic Data, and more. Students will also address topics such as security in cloud computing, Applied Biometric Systems, Criminal Psychology, and Ethical Issues in Information Technology.
The programme also includes a Master's seminar and the completion of a Master's thesis. Students will develop practical skills in 15-day seminars and apply their theoretical knowledge to practical situations. Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be awarded the title Master of Engineering.
The distance learning programme lasts a total of 24 months and corresponds to 90 ECTS points. The focus is on imparting expert knowledge and skills to prepare graduates for diverse professional challenges in the field of IT security and forensics.
