Admission requirements
In order to enroll directly in the course, you need the general qualification for university entrance, a subject-specific qualification for university entrance, or the university of applied sciences entrance qualification.
Don't have a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification?
Recognized advanced training and technical school qualifications (e.g. technician, master craftsman, business administrator, specialist, educator, etc.) in combination with a consultation entitle you to study.
If you do not have an advanced training or technical school qualification, but have completed vocational training and professional experience, you can start your studies after successfully passing the university aptitude test.
Foreign students interested in studying at the university need to provide proof of their German language skills. There are several ways to provide this proof, such as:
- DSH-2 (German Language Examination for University Entrance)
- C1 according to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- TestDaF level 4 (Test German as a Foreign Language)
- A school leaving certificate equivalent to a German university entrance qualification.
Recommended Skills:
- English at ALTE3 or B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
- Mathematics skills at the level of university entrance qualification
- Basic PC user skills
