Here are the admission requirements for the Bachelor of Computer Science
You can enroll in the Bachelor's distance learning programme in Computer Science at IU International University (IU) if you provide us with your A-levels (general higher education entrance qualification), your technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur), or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
You can also enroll without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training course, such as a training course to become a state-certified business economist.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, such as a training course to become an office clerk. After your training, you have worked in this profession full-time for at least 3 years. If your training is not relevant to the Computer Science distance learning programme, you will first complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.
Additionally, you must prove your English language skills. For example, you can demonstrate your English skills through a TOEFL test (minimum of 80 points), IELTS (at least Level 6), a passed Duolingo English test (at least 105 points), a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B), or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you can complete an English course free of charge directly at IU International University.
