The homogenization phase makes it easy to enter the challenging modules of the program. Thus, even individuals from related disciplines, such as engineers, can easily start the program.

These are the study contents and the course of study
Embedded Systems and Digital Technologies represent a combination of hardware and software components that are integrated into a technical context and have the task of controlling, regulating, or monitoring a system. An embedded system performs predefined tasks, often with real-time requirements. Embedded systems are used in a variety of application areas and devices. For example, in medical technology, in vehicles and aircraft, in devices for building automation, households, and communication, and in consumer electronics. Embedded systems foster innovations in various fields. Through the networking of numerous embedded systems, they are the driving force in the area of Industry 4.0.
The Master's programme Embedded Systems and Digital Technologies is designed as an application-oriented Master's programme focusing on scientific concepts, methods, and techniques of computer science in the field of embedded systems. With these contents, you will be able to solve tasks in various application fields and to plan and develop customised embedded systems.
As a graduate of this programme, your future fields of work are conceivable in almost all industries and companies, considering the continuously expanding use of embedded systems. The Master's programme provides access to higher qualified activities in the ICT sector, industry, as well as commerce and the service sector. The Master's degree enables you to enter higher civil service and entitles you to pursue a doctorate.

Studying securely and transparently with credit points
Your Master's programme is structurally modular. You study thematically closed subject areas (modules) to which credit points are assigned according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The number of credit points assigned to each module depends on the scope of the module and the associated workload. All credit points you earn will be credited to you, and you will receive a certificate. Your achievements are comparable and recognised internationally.
Duration of Study
4 academic semesters, equivalent to a standard period of study of 24 months. You can extend the supervision period free of charge by 12 months.
