Admission requirements
Prerequisites for enrolling in the consecutive Master's programme Artificial Intelligence include a successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
International students are required to provide proof of German language proficiency. There are several ways to provide such proof, such as:
- DSH-2 (German Language Examination for University Entrance)
- C1 according to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- TestDaF Level 4 (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache)
- A school-leaving certificate equivalent to a German university entrance qualification
Recommended knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of advanced mathematics and statistics
- Sound knowledge of academic work, particularly in terms of independently writing academic papers
- Proficient in at least one programming language and in the basics of computer science
- English language skills at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Any lacking prerequisites can be acquired during the preparatory course.

The Master's programme Artificial Intelligence (M.Sc.) at AKAD University is designed for computer science professionals interested in ethical issues and economic developments.
