In order to enrol in the Bachelor's distance learning course in Business Informatics at IU International University (IU), you need to provide your A-levels (general university entrance qualification), your technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur), or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enrol without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed a career advancement training, for example, training as a state-certified business economist.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, for instance, training as an office clerk. After your training, you have worked in this occupation full-time for at least 3 years. If your training is not related to the Business Informatics distance learning course, you will first need to complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.

You can flexibly adjust your online Business Informatics degree at IU International University to fit your life and daily routine as best suits you. For example, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time study, you need a total of 6 semesters, i.e., 36 months, to complete your bachelor's degree. In part-time study I, you study for 8 semesters until completion. Or you can opt for part-time study II and take 12 semesters to complete your bachelor's degree.
When you register for a module, you will receive study materials from IU in the form of printed study booklets. All materials are also available to you digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative study scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of each lesson. Depending on the module, the study materials are complemented by podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called Shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the convenient IU Learn app.
In many modules, virtual lectures are also offered, allowing you to interact interactively with your classmates and lecturers.

You can take an online exam 7 days a week, 24 hours a day - whenever you feel optimally prepared for the exam, such as in construction preparation.
