• Subject-specific university entrance qualification: access to suitable degree programmes in defined fields of study.
• Professional access without Abitur:
  • Completed at least two-year vocational training plus at least two years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Successful passing of a subject-specific university entrance examination is required.
• Master craftsman’s certificate, technician qualification, specialist (at least 400 teaching hours): admitted after passing the university entrance examination.
• Intermediate educational qualification plus at least three years of vocational training with a final grade of 2.5 or better (otherwise additional university entrance examination necessary); requirement for the study agreement (proof of 18 credit points in the 1st semester or 30 in the first academic year).
• Individual assessment of the admission requirements is possible. In unclear cases, the university decides after consultation and review of the documents.

A Numerus Clausus (NC) is not required.

The university recommends a counselling interview for applicants without a traditional university entrance qualification.
