Admission requirements

You need a General University Entrance Qualification (Abitur), subject-specific university entrance qualification, or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, or a university admission qualification recognized as equivalent by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art. Alternatively, you can have passed the University Entrance Examination (HZP) after two academic semesters.

  • You can also be admitted with a qualified degree, such as a master craftsman's certificate or a business administrator examination, without having to take any further exams.
  • Another option is professional qualification with at least a three-year training with a grade of 2.5 or better, as well as a secondary school leaving certificate and two years of work experience.
