- Pre-Master Certificates: If you have less than 210 ECTS credit points from your previous studies, you can choose from a pool of attractive certificates to make up the difference. Each of these certificates offers 30 CP.

Your Master's programme in "Sustainability Technologies and Management" at Wilhelm Büchner University is a professionally and thematically structured programme that leads to the degree Master of Science.
The programme is structured in modules. You will study thematically closed subject areas (modules) to which credit points are assigned according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The number of credit points assigned to each module depends on the scope of the module and the associated workload. All credit points you earn will be credited to you, and you will receive documentation of this. Your achievements are thus comparable and recognized internationally.
If you have less than 210 ECTS credits from a previous bachelor's degree, you will have access to a pool of pre-master certificates:
- Future Management
- Agilization and Digitalization
- Digital Energy Management and Energy Systems
- Digitalization and Transformation
- Quality Management
- Technology Management
From this pool, you can choose attractive certificates with their own completion to make up the difference. A pre-master certificate corresponds to 30 ECTS credits. Enrollment in the Master's programme can only follow after successful completion of the pre-master's programme.
The Master's programme in Sustainability Technologies and Management has a standard duration of three semesters, which corresponds to a total of 90 ECTS credits.
The programme is structured as follows:
- 1st Semester: Sustainable Development and Sustainability Principles, Economic Sustainability Theories and Concepts, Corporate Responsibility, Strategy and Leadership, Sustainable Financial Management, Advanced Sustainability Management (1 elective module)
- 2nd Semester: Advanced Sustainability Management (in the chosen specialization area), Basics of Sustainability Technologies, Technological Focus (Part 1), Technological Focus (Part 2), Future Workshop@WBH
- 3rd Semester: Master's Thesis including Colloquium
