Here are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's programme in Mechanical Engineering Business Administration
In the Bachelor's distance learning programme in Mechanical Engineering Business Administration at IU International University (IU), you can enrol if you provide us with your secondary school leaving certificate (general university entrance qualification), your technical college entrance qualification (technical college maturity), or subject-specific university entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enrol without a secondary school leaving certificate. Studying without a secondary school leaving certificate at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced vocational training, for example, a training course to become a Certified Business Economist.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, for example, training as a business clerk. After your training, you have worked in this profession full-time for at least 3 years. If your training does not match the subject matter of the distance learning programme in Mechanical Engineering Business Administration, you will first have to complete a trial course before being regularly enrolled.
If you opt for the English-language variant, you must also demonstrate your English language skills. You can prove your English language skills, for example, through a TOEFL test (minimum 80 points), IELTS (at least Level 6), a passed Duolingo English test (at least 105 points), a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B overall), or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you can take an English course at IU International University free of charge.
