Requirements for Enrollment

With your degree in Technical Business Administration, you could work, for example, in the purchasing and sales of metal goods, in controlling, or in human resources.

You can easily start the online course in Technical Business Administration in Metal Trading at Hochschule Fresenius: With a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), the general subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, you can enroll immediately and at any time.

Even access without a higher education entrance qualification is possible, for example, if you have completed a master craftsman's examination or a comparable professional advancement training examination, such as the state-certified technician or the state-certified business economist. If you can demonstrate at least a two-year completed job-specific training and then at least two years of job-specific work experience, you can also enter the program through a university entrance examination.

By the way: If you have already completed a course of study, you can save costs and time by having prior learning recognized. In addition to academic achievements, credits can also be awarded for achievements you have obtained outside of a university.

This part-time distance learning course was created in cooperation with the Wirtschaftsverband Großhandel Metallhalbzeug e.V. and the Verband Deutscher Metallhändler e.V. During the distance learning programme, you will acquire the business and financial as well as material technology knowledge to competently operate in the international metal industry. Additionally, you will deepen your knowledge in interesting areas such as leading improvement processes or Technical Service Management.
