Requirements for Enrollment

With your degree as an industrial engineer, you can work, for example, in product and project management, in development, or in supply chain management.

Entering the online study programme in Industrial Engineering Digital Engineering and Management at Hochschule Fresenius is uncomplicated: With a general university entrance qualification (Abitur), a general higher education entrance qualification, or a subject-related higher education entrance qualification, you can enroll immediately and at any time.

An entry without Abitur is also possible, for example, if you have completed a master craftsman's examination or a comparable advanced professional training exam, such as the State-certified Technician or the State-certified Business Administrator. If you can demonstrate at least two years of completed, job-specific vocational training followed by at least two years of job-specific work experience, you can also enter the programme through a university entrance examination.

By the way: if you have already completed a degree, you can save costs and time by having prior learning recognized. In addition to academic achievements, achievements obtained outside a university can also be credited.

This part-time distance learning course was developed in cooperation, among others, with the Hasso Plattner Institute Potsdam. The course will make you an expert in Industry 4.0.
