For the B.Sc. Energy Economics and Management at Wilhelm Bücher University, there are various access options:
Access option No. 1: You have a general higher education entrance qualification (A-levels), a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or a subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification.
Access option No. 2: You have a university admission qualification recognized as equivalent by the Hessian Ministry of Cultural Affairs (e.g. a master's degree or a qualification as a state-certified technician).
Access option No. 3: Studying as an auditor: You start your guest studies at our university without the three mentioned accesses and take the university entrance examination (UEE) after 2 semesters. To do this, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- You have completed a vocational training lasting at least two years in a field related to the desired course of study, regulated by the Vocational Training Act, the Crafts Code, or federal or state law.
- You have subsequently worked in a full-time capacity for at least two years in a field related to the desired course of study.
If you aim for a course of study that is not related to the completed training or professional activity, the knowledge acquired through training and professional activity must be expanded or deepened through qualified further training with a workload of at least 400 hours in a field related to the desired course of study.
After successfully passing the university entrance examination (UEE), we will change your status from auditor to regular student.

Your bachelor's degree program in Energy Economics and Management at WBH is structured in modules. You will study thematically closed subject areas (modules) to which credit points are assigned according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The number of credit points assigned to each module depends on the scope of the module and the associated workload. All credit points you earn will be credited to you, and you will receive a certificate. Your achievements are thus comparable and recognized – also internationally.

- 4th Semester: Intercultural Competence and International Management (Part 1), Business Informatics, Energy Law, Basics of Renewable Energy Technology, Seminar
- 5th Semester: Intercultural Competence and International Management (Part 2), Marketing and Technical Sales, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, Energy Systems, Project Work
- 6th Semester: Service and Network Management in Energy Economics, Elective Area II, Bachelor Thesis and Colloquium
