Who is the Master’s programme in Business Law (LL.M.) at Euro-FH suitable for?
The programme is aimed at non-lawyers with a completed first degree in economics or related, business-oriented fields. The Master’s is particularly suitable for professionals working in companies, associations, or public administration who require solid business law expertise for management decisions. The programme allows specialisation in six future-oriented subject areas and qualifies you for positions at the interface of business and law, for example in project management, compliance, or auditing.
What admission requirements must you meet?
For admission, you need a completed first degree (e.g. Bachelor, Diplom or Magister) from a university. Relevant professional experience is also expected. A first degree in law is not required. English skills are necessary, as part of the specialist literature and materials may be in English. There is no Numerus Clausus (NC). Previous achievements from earlier studies can possibly be credited and shorten the course of study.
You should have an interest in economic and legal issues and be willing to engage intensively with legal content (the programme consists of about 80% legal modules). Independent learning, perseverance and the ability to work in a structured way alongside your job are decisive. Professional experience in an economic context as well as analytical thinking, communication skills and IT competence support success in distance learning.
What content can you expect in the distance learning programme in Business Law (LL.M.)?
In the master’s degree programme Business Law (LL.M.) at Euro-FH, you will acquire comprehensive legal and business-related skills that are particularly relevant to the entrepreneurial context. You will learn to independently analyse legal risks and develop practical solutions for complex matters.
You will also specifically deepen your negotiation and moderation skills as well as management and leadership competencies. A central element is the choice of one of six future-oriented specialisation areas, allowing you to sharpen your profile:
- HR Management & Labour Law: Labour law issues, remuneration and working time management

In this way, you acquire an interdisciplinary toolkit to support legally compliant and economically viable decisions in companies or associations.
How is the distance learning programme structured and organised?
The programme is designed for 18 or 24 months and can be completed flexibly in full-time or part-time – a free extension of up to 12 months is possible. The start date is generally flexible at any time.
You mainly study independently using digital study materials, multimedia learning resources and online tools such as web-based training courses, learning apps and the AI-supported learning companion KILEA. Additionally, there are a few compact seminars, which usually take place online. You can take exams flexibly every month either online or at one of 10 nationwide examination centres. This flexibility makes the programme compatible with work and family.
Personal study support as well as specialised tutors will assist you throughout the study period. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the recognised Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with 90 ECTS credits.
