Admission requirements
- In order to be admitted to the Bachelor's distance learning programme in IT Forensics, applicants must have a general higher education entrance qualification, a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or an equivalent recognized qualification (advanced training).
- In addition, a minimum of 6 months of practical pre-training is required.

Details
The Bachelor Distance Learning Programme in IT Forensics, offered by Wismar International Graduation Services GmbH (WINGS), provides comprehensive knowledge in the field of IT forensics. The programme lasts for 48 months and comprises a total of 210 ECTS credits.
The course contents include an introduction to computer science, basics of technical computer science, criminology, operating systems, data protection law, algorithms and data structures, software architectures, ethical hacking, cryptography, forensics in database systems, forensics on mobile devices, computer forensics, data mining, network and security management, and much more.
Graduates acquire extensive knowledge and skills in IT forensics, cybercrime, forensic analysis of biometric data, forensic analysis of images and videos, technical data protection, and more through this Bachelor's programme. The programme concludes with a Bachelor's thesis and a colloquium.
The Bachelor of Engineering in IT Forensics is designed for professionals and individuals interested in furthering their education in the field of IT forensics. The programme offers flexible arrangements through distance learning and on-site seminars on 2-3 weekends per semester to accommodate work commitments and studies.
