Admission requirements
The following admission requirements must be met in order to start the diploma programme:
General university entrance qualification (e.g. Matura) For the study of law, knowledge of Latin is required: If Latin was not completed at school (at least 10 lessons per week), an additional exam must be taken. If the language of instruction is not the first language, a language proficiency certificate for German level C1 must also be provided.Details
The Multimedia Diploma Programme in Legal Studies at Johannes Kepler University Linz is an innovative study format based on the traditional curriculum of the Faculty of Law. It is designed for individuals seeking a flexible approach to legal knowledge. Students benefit from on-site phases where they learn fundamental content, as well as multimedia study materials that enable them to tailor their learning process flexibly.
The course includes regular on-site events introducing examination subjects, multimedia learning materials provided in the form of media kits, and the opportunity for electronic participation in lectures. Graduates receive the academic degree of Master of Legal Studies and have the opportunity to pursue a doctoral study afterwards.
