Admission requirements
In order to be admitted to the dual master's programme, you need to have completed a study programme of at least six semesters with content in sports science, exercise science, or health science at a university, college, or dual university.
Alternatively, equivalent degrees obtained at German or foreign universities, as well as degrees from accredited bachelor's programmes at vocational academies, are also accepted. Another option is to have completed an undergraduate degree with additional qualifications and professional experience in the industry, including 10 ECTS in economics and 12 ECTS in sports science courses. If you lack these industry-specific ECTS, you can take corresponding bridging courses at IST University of Management.
Additionally, you will need a contractual cooperation with a suitable training company.

In this master's programme, you will gain basic management know-how in addition to practical training and deepen your health-related knowledge. Modules in General Management cover topics such as 'Leadership Skills,' 'Entrepreneurship,' and 'Marketing & Sales.' Modules like 'Supply Chain Management', 'Quality Management,' and 'Health Promotion and Prevention' provide you with in-depth knowledge in the sports and health sector. Through a wide range of elective modules, you have the opportunity to tailor your studies to your interests. Examples include 'Medical Training Therapy,' 'Training and Nutrition for Different Target Groups,' and 'Stress Management/Psychoregulative Methods.'
