Admission requirements
Access 1: You have a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification
- With this requirement, you can immediately enroll in a degree program at the Euro-FH! It is recommended, but not required, to also have professional experience related to the chosen course of study of at least twelve weeks
Access 2: You do not have a high school diploma, but have completed a subject-specific further education examination
- You have passed one of the following further education examinations or an equivalent subject-specific further education examination:
- State-certified business administrator
- Certified accountant
- Specialist business manager
- Specialist merchant
- State-certified technician
- Master or - You have certificates of competency according to the Ship Officer Training Regulation or you have a degree from a recognized technical school (according to the Hamburg School Act) or a degree recognized as equivalent or
- You have a degree in state-specific further training regulations for professions in the healthcare sector, in the field of social care or social pedagogical professions comparable to the above
- You also participate in a consultation with the specialist committee of the Euro-FH. The consultation will be conducted by phone and lasts about 15 minutes. The appointment for the conversation will be arranged after reviewing your enrollment documents
Access 3: Without a high school diploma, with completed vocational training and several years of professional experience
- If you have completed vocational training and have been employed for at least three years afterwards (up to two years of childcare and caregiving can also be credited towards employment), you can be admitted to study as a so-called \"guest auditor.\" This means that you start your studies just like regular students and receive all documents and services like your fellow students, including taking exams
- Within ten months, you will then take the entrance exam at the Euro-FH. This consists of an exam in German and an exam in critical thinking and judgement. You can choose yourself whether you want to take a project work or an exam in the respective subjects
- After passing the entrance exam, you will continue your studies seamlessly. Your status changes from that of a guest auditor to that of a regular student. You will then receive proof of your already completed study and examination achievements

The Bachelor's degree programme in Sports Management (B.A.) at the European Distance University Hamburg is aimed at professionals who wish to further their career in the field of sports.
