The target group of the Bachelor's degree programme includes high school graduates with a university or college of applied sciences entrance qualification who aim for a professional entry into the professional sports industry, industry experts who want to further qualify academically with a Bachelor's degree, as well as elite athletes who want to prepare flexibly for the time after their active career.
The admission requirements for the Bachelor's degree programme in Sports Management are as follows:
Educational Requirements: You need the (subject-specific) university entrance qualification or a comparable school leaving certificate to be admitted to the programme. Professional Experience: Three months internship in the sports sector or industry-specific work experience in the sports sector is required. Access without Abitur: If you do not have Abitur, you can also be admitted if you have a master craftsman's certificate, an advanced training qualification, or a completed vocational training of at least two years as well as three years of work experience.The study programme starts in April and October respectively. The full-time variant lasts six semesters, while the part-time variant takes eight semesters. An individual start at other times is possible.

The Bachelor's degree programme in Sports Business Management (B.A.) provides you with business and industry-specific know-how, enabling you to demonstrate an integrated understanding of the diverse sports economy upon completion of your studies. The knowledge and skills acquired in this distance learning course will make you a specialist in the industry and qualify you for leadership positions.
During your studies, you will acquire solid knowledge of business economics. The acquired social, methodological, and leadership skills are essential for management positions. A characteristic feature of this degree programme is the high proportion of industry-specific study content that is taught from the first semester onwards. This includes topics such as "Sports Marketing," "Association and Club Management," "International Sports Business," and "Sports Marketing."

Study ProcessThe Bachelor in Sports Business Management (B.A.) is conducted as a distance learning course. The theoretical framework consists of study booklets specially prepared for self-study. In addition, modern multimedia teaching methods are provided, such as online lectures, online tutorials, or online exercises. Examination locations include Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, and St. Gallen in Switzerland. Upon completion of the studies, you will receive a total of 180 European Credit Points.
The Bachelor's degree programme starts in April and October. The distance learning course lasts for 6 semesters for full-time and 8 semesters for part-time.
