The study programme Social Security and Social Administration Management B.A. at Fulda University is aimed at individuals interested in professional counselling and support for people in difficult life situations, as well as issues related to the working world and social security. The programme is designed to provide students with a solid, scientific analysis and practical design of such topics. Particularly for employees in social administration or social-economic organisations, the programme offers optimal career opportunities thanks to the combination of theory and practice.
The course contents include efficient communication skills, psychosocial counselling, and coaching in the field of social security and labour market issues. Important modules include Case Management, Social and Administrative Law, and perspectives on labour market theory. In addition, students acquire competencies in the areas of organisation, personnel management, health promotion, and networking.
The seven-semester programme is designed as a dual or part-time study programme and follows the approach of Blended Learning, a combination of self-study, online, and practical phases. This allows for a flexible connection between work and study. Upon successful completion, graduates receive 180 ECTS credits and the academic degree Bachelor of Arts.
