Admission requirements
In order to be admitted to this distance learning programme, one of the following three conditions must be met:
- general university entrance qualification or
- subject-specific university entrance qualification or
- vocational baccalaureate or
Admission without a university entrance qualification is possible with a recognized advanced training qualification (e.g. master craftsman, business administrator, industrial business manager, etc.) or through the university entrance examination for professionals (HZP). Successfully passing the HZP also entitles you to study at the University of Wismar without a general university entrance qualification or vocational baccalaureate.

Details
The Bachelor's online course in Social Management, offered by Wismar International Graduation Services GmbH (WINGS), provides comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of social management. Students receive an introduction to business administration as well as fundamental topics such as business private law, social law, cost accounting, and balance sheets. Additionally, social scientific foundations, ethics, economics, and statistics are also covered.
Further focuses of the programme include in-depth exploration of topics such as social policy, controlling, human resources management, financing and investment, as well as marketing for social enterprises. Intercultural competence, personnel management, change management, and labour law are also addressed. Additionally, subjects like quality management, organizational development, and project management are part of the curriculum.
The programme comprises a total of 180 ECTS credits and culminates in the academic degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). The standard period of study is 48 months, and during the distance learning programme, a total of 24 hours per week need to be allocated for studies.
