Admission requirements
- You hold a first professionally qualifying higher education degree (at least six semesters) in any field and have additionally acquired at least one year of relevant, qualified professional experience in the health or social sector.
- Alternatively, you may be admitted to the programme without a first higher education degree but with university entrance qualification (for example, general higher education entrance qualification or master craftsman examination) and at least three years of relevant qualified professional experience via an aptitude test; in this case, an additional year of professional practice in the health or social sector must be demonstrated.

The part-time Master's programme "Management of Health and Social Institutions" offers a scientifically based further education for individuals who are aiming for or already hold leadership positions in health and social care institutions. The target group includes specialists and managers from health and social care institutions, as well as anyone seeking to qualify for leadership roles in these areas. The course is practice-oriented and particularly suitable for working professionals.

The standard period of study is four semesters, with about five on-campus phases taking place in Kaiserslautern. The workload is designed to run alongside professional employment.
