Requirements for enrollment

Specialists with a B.Sc. in Psychology are in demand: With your degree, you could work for example as an HR employee, in market and advertising research, or in consultancy.

Entering online studies in psychology at Hochschule Fresenius is straightforward: With a general university entrance qualification (A Levels), a general higher education entrance qualification, or a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, you can enroll immediately and at any time.

An entry without A Levels is also possible, for example if you have completed a master craftsman's examination or a similar professional development examination, such as a state-certified technician or business administrator. If you can provide evidence of at least a two-year completed job-specific vocational training and subsequent at least two years of job-specific work experience, you can also enter the study programme through a university entrance examination (HZP).

By the way: If you have already completed a degree, you can save costs and time by having prior learning recognized. In addition to academic achievements, credits can also be awarded for achievements obtained outside of a university.

In the Psychology distance learning programme at Fresenius University, you will systematically engage with psychological methods. Additionally, you will acquire extensive knowledge in applied psychology, clinical psychology, educational psychology, as well as work and organizational psychology.

• 2nd Semester: Statistics II, General Psychology II, Biological Psychology, Developmental Psychology
• 3rd Semester: Fundamentals of Test Theory and Psychological Diagnostics, Personality and Differential Psychology, Social Psychology, Empirical-Experimental Internship
• 4th Semester: Diagnostic Methods, Introduction to Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Educational Psychology and Educational Research, Introduction to Work, Organizational, and Business Psychology
• 5th Semester: Practical Project, Specialization Module 1.1, Specialization Module 1.2, Specialization Module 1.3
• 6th Semester: Specialization Module 2.1, Specialization Module 2.2, Specialization Module 2.3, Bachelor's Thesis, Disputation

You can choose a total of 3 specialization modules, for example, the Health Economics module. Specializations: Psychology, Education and Digitalisation, E-Health, Communication Psychology, Applied Psychology for Digital Transformation.
