Admission requirements
Access 1: You have completed the Abitur or Fachhochschulreife
- With this qualification, you can immediately enroll in studies at the Euro-FH
- It is advisable, but not mandatory, to also have at least twelve weeks of practical work experience related to the chosen course
Access 2: You do not have the Abitur, but have completed a specialized further education examination:
- You have, for example, one of the following further education examinations or an equivalent specialized further education certificate:
- State-certified Business Administrator
- Certified Accountant
- Management Specialist
- Business Administrator
- State-certified Technician
- Master or - You have certification according to the Officer of the Watch Training Regulations or you have a degree from a recognized technical school (according to the Hamburg School Act) or an equivalently recognized certificate or
- You have a qualification according to state-specific further education regulations for professions in healthcare, social care, or social pedagogical fields that are comparable to the above and
- You also participate in a consultation with the Euro-FH's specialist committee. The consultation will be conducted over the phone and lasts about 15 minutes. The scheduling of the consultation will be done after reviewing your enrollment documents
Access 3: Without the Abitur, but with a completed vocational training and several years of professional experience
- If you have completed vocational training and have been employed for at least three years thereafter (up to two years of childcare and caregiving are also counted as work experience), you can be admitted to study as a so-called \"guest auditor.\" This means you start your studies just like regular students and receive all materials and services like your peers, including the ability to take exams
- Within ten months, you then take the entrance exam at the Euro-FH. This consists of an exam in German and one in logical and analytical reasoning. You can choose whether to take a project work or an exam in each subject. We will prepare you optimally for the exams so that you can comfortably pass them within the designated time. By the way, during the entrance exam, you have a monthly right of termination, so you don't take any risks
- Upon passing the entrance exam, your status changes from a guest auditor to that of a regular student. You will then receive a certificate of your completed study and examination achievements and continue your studies seamlessly
Details
The focus of the course lies in developing discourse skills as well as moderation and counseling competences. Students have access to teaching and learning materials via the online campus and can participate in various teaching formats, such as online tutorials and face-to-face events. The course enables a flexible study organization and offers short face-to-face phases.
The target groups of the course are individuals working in the educational, psychological, or social field or those preparing to do so. The course also targets professionals who wish to further qualify themselves alongside their career. With a well-developed distance learning concept and the opportunity for individual specialization in selected areas, the course offers diverse career opportunities and allows for a flexible study progression.
