Admission Requirements – How You Can Start
To enrol in the distance learning programme in Curative Education and Inclusive Education (B.A.) at DIPLOMA University, you need one of the following access qualifications:
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur)
- Entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife)
- Passed master craftsman examination
- Intermediate school leaving certificate (at least Realschulabschluss) and a qualified completion of a recognised vocational training programme lasting at least three years (with a final grade of 2.5 or better)
- Completion of a professional advanced training course (at least 400 hours of instruction), a technical school, or professional or administrative academy according to state regulations
- Professional qualification: Final examination in a state-recognised training occupation with subsequent at least two years of relevant professional activity and passing a separate university entrance examination (HZB exam), especially for socio-pedagogical assistants/child carers without Abitur
- For foreign qualifications: proof of equivalence
