Details
The Bachelor's degree programme in Childhood Education at DIPLOMA qualifies students to professionally accompany children up to the age of ten in their development. The students acquire the necessary knowledge for specialist and managerial positions as well as for activities in initial and continuing education, counselling, and management.
The study content includes the basics of children's developmental and educational processes as well as their individual support through educational measures. Special emphasis is placed on language, mathematical and scientific education, as well as health and environmental education.
The programme can be completed as a distance learning course, on-site course, or in a dual format to ensure compatibility with work and family. A practical phase of 100 days is an integral part of the programme, with most of these days being able to be shortened through credits. The start of the studies is generally possible in April and October. A state recognition as a childhood educator complements the bachelor's degree.
