Career Change to Teaching
This part-time course enables you, under certain conditions, to make a side-entry into teaching at vocational schools. To become a vocational school teacher, you must first complete a teaching internship after your master's degree. In Baden-Württemberg, where the Allensbach University is located, the internship lasts 18 months.
In addition to an undergraduate degree in the field of business economics, a minimum number of ECTS in business administration and economics are required for admission to the teaching internship. Any missing ECTS can also be obtained during the master's program at Allensbach University. Please contact our student advisory service to have your qualifications checked in detail.
It should be noted that admission requirements for the teaching internship vary from state to state. For example, entry in Bavaria is not possible. Read more about side-entry in Baden-Württemberg here.
